Where to Find Sleeping Beauty (Aurora) at Disney World

by Shannon

If you have a Maleficent lover in your family, you definitely won’t want to miss Princess Aurora on your next vacation. Sleeping Beauty can be found in multiple locations and dining opportunities throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Let’s look at where you can find Princess Aurora at Disney World.

Sleeping Beauty at Disney World

France Pavilion, EPCOT

Princess Aurora can be found daily at the France Pavilion of the World Showcase in EPCOT. Aurora meets with guests underneath a covered gazebo area at the far right of the France pavilion. Sleeping Beauty comes and goes throughout the day and alternates her appearances with Belle so be sure to check the Times Guide on the My Disney Experience app, or grab a paper copy as you enter the park. Remember that the cast member will stop the line when it gets close to the character’s break time so if this is a must-do for you, arrive at or prior to start time.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, EPCOT

Princess Aurora is among the many princesses that interact with you tableside at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway. Reservations are required (and encouraged at the 180 day mark).

Cinderella’s Royal Table, Magic Kingdom

Princess Aurora is among the many princesses that interact with you tableside at Cinderella’s Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom. Reservations are required (and necessary at the 180 day mark).

Festival of Fantasy Parade, Magic Kingdom

Though this is most likely a temporary appearance until the Maleficent dragon is repaired, as of May 2018, you can now see Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip in the Festival of Fantasy Parade.

Perfectly Princess Tea, Grand Floridian

Aurora is the hosting Princess at the Perfectly Princess Tea in the Grand Floridian. This tea party includes refreshments and gifts for attendees and is a very special (and expensive) experience fit for Sleeping Beauty’s biggest fan.
