Boo Bash Event Details

Cavalcades

Mickey’s Happy Halloween Cavalcade: Delight as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto and pals—dressed in hauntingly boo-tiful Halloween costumes—parade through the park in this musical procession.

Disney Villain Halloween Cavalcade: Behold a legion of villains— unleashed to revel in this sinister season. Gaston leads the way, followed by fellow fiends like Dr. Facilier, the Queen of Hearts and Jafar, celebrating just how wonderful it is to be wicked.

Jack’s Nightmare Cavalcade: Prepare for a procession worthy of the Pumpkin King! Jack Skellington—along with Sally and Oogie Boogie from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas—take to the streets to share thrilling, chilling tricks and treats!

You’ll also see Maleficent make an appearance as the fire-breathing dragon.

Character Sightings

These definitely will differ from the usual meet-and-greets we had at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and will most likely include the characters waving and interacting with guests from a distance.

Character Sightings will occur across the park, so be on the lookout! You could see:

  • Goofy
  • Chip ‘n’ Dale
  • Miss Carlotta, Miss Renatta and Broome the Butler at the Haunted Mansion
  • Foulfellow and Gideon

The Cadaver Dans will also be performing.

Trick or Treating

You’ll be able to trick-or-treat throughout the park and allergy friendly treats will still be an option.

Special Decor

  • Special decor, lighting and music throughout the park.
  • Themed lighting on Cinderella Castle

Disney PhotoPass Experiences

  • Ride Photos
  • Halloween Magic Shots

Note PhotoPass photos are NOT included with your event ticket. You would either need to purchase memory maker for your trip or individual PhotoPass photos.

Limited Capacity

In my experience, After Hours events are MUCH lower capacity than the seasonal parties. This means you should expect shorter waits at the over 20 Magic Kingdom attractions that will be open.

Included Refreshments

After Hours events include select ice cream novelties (like a mickey bar), bottled drinks, and popcorn. These are available at carts throughout the park for no additional cost.

Costumes

Halloween costumes are super fun to wear to these events! You’ll see people go all out with their costumes. My daughter always enjoyed dressing up to trick-or-treat around the park.

Costume masks are not permitted for adults; they can only be worn by children under 14

Tickets for Disney After Hours Boo Bash go on sale June 15. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can book early-purchase tickets beginning June 8.

While this isn’t exactly Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party from years past, I am excited that we get a special event to look forward to during the Halloween Season.

  1. We love Halloween and were so excited for this but why is it so late?! I know your littles have an early bedtime as well, will you be bringing them or attending this one solo? I know mine won’t make it till midnight.. such a bummer 😞

  2. I’m excited for the event. Grandparents will watch the kids and it will be the Adults time to “play”! Wondering if you know…if I have everyone linked to my Disney account…can I purchase ALL the Boo bash tickets and assign them to the appropriate people? Or do they need to log into their own accounts and purchase them? Thank you!! Love following you!

  3. We’re excited to have a lower capacity option and a fun event to celebrate. Planning to take advantage of getting in the park at 7 and going for as long as we can. Praying for fun and sugar to outweigh exhaustion and tantrums!
