Experiencing the magic and wonder of Walt Disney World with my young children has been nothing short of incredible. The love that my kids have for the shows, the characters, and the rides will never cease to bring the happiest tears to my eyes. Disney with a toddler can be SO MUCH FUN!
But it also can be stressful if you’re not prepared for the day. Through our many adventures to see Mickey Mouse, I’ve learned what the park bag necessities are when traveling with little ones, and I’m sharing them with you!

Must Have Disney Park Bag Items
Masks
I like to bring 2-3 per person, per day.
All of my favorite adult and child size masks are linked here. They’re our tried and true favorites!
Handheld or Stroller Fan
It is HOT at Walt Disney World — especially in the summer months. You won’t regret having a rechargeable fan on your vacation — especially if your kids will be stroller napping.
Wet Bags
I use a variety of different size wet bags in my Disney park bag. I like to bring a large one with a change of clothes for each kid — that way if their original outfit gets wet or dirty, I can change them and put the dirties in the wet bag.
I also like to use the small wet bags for organizing extra masks, or little necessities like hair ties, bandaids, medicine etc.
Cooling Towels
These towels do a great job at keeping you cool in the hot months! But they’re also great for rainy days. You can use them to dry off a wet bench before sitting, etc!
Refillable Water Bottle
I always bring a water bottle for each kiddo and myself. You can get free ice water at any quick service dining location or at Starbucks. There’s also plenty of water fountains and water refill stations throughout the parks.
Sunscreen & Sunglasses
Sunscreen is an absolute must at Walt Disney World. Even on cooler days you can very easily get a sunburn.
Don’t forget your sunglasses! I bring a cheap pair that I don’t care if I lose.
Hand Wipes & Hand Sanitizer
Disney does offer gel sanitizer dispensers throughout the park but my kids prefer the sanitizing hand wipes or the spray. Plus I definitely recommend having some on hand if you can.
Snacks
If you forget everything else, REMEMBER SNACKS! Snacks are key to survival at Disney with young kiddos. Pack tons of snacks of all different varieties.
Here’s some of our personal favorites.
Want to get groceries (and snacks!!) delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel? YOU CAN DO THAT! Click here to read all of the ways you can have groceries delivered on vacation! I highly recommend doing this!
“While we Wait” Entertainment for Littles
Here’s a few ideas for while we wait entertainment that’s mess-free and easy to throw in your park bag. Use it in a long line, while waiting for the parade or show to start, or while waiting for your food at a restaurant.
A Special Gift or Treat
Buy these before you hit the parks and throw them in your bag! They’re a great surprise for little ones that won’t break the bank!
Don’t forget your rain gear! You can see all of my Walt Disney World in the rain recommendations right here.
