EPCOT Festival Scavenger Hunts

Throughout the year, EPCOT hosts seasonal festivals that feature fun food booths, entertainment, merchandise, activities, and more! One of the things my kids most look forward to at the festivals, is the special scavenger hunts!

The EPCOT Festival scavenger hunts take you exploring throughout the World Showcase as you look for the hidden clues that coordinate with your scavenger hunt map. Festival scavenger hunt maps can be purchased inside of EPCOT at the following merchandise locations:

• Port of Entry
  • this shop is located between Mexico and Canada as you enter the World Showcase
• Mouse Gear
  • this is the main merchandise shop at EPCOT, currently located in Future World across from the Mission: SPACE entrance
• World Traveler
  • this shop is located between France and the UK in the World Showcase.

You’ll see a sign outside of these shops displaying that the scavenger hunt map is available for purchase at that location.

Maps have been $7.99 each this year and include a prize as well! Once you complete the scavenger hunt (or when you purchase the map — your choice), you’ll get a stamp on the back and get to choose a prize from the available choices.

Each scavenger hunt features different prizes and they do change each year.

Let’s take a look at each of the festivals and their accompanying scavenger hunt!

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

The Festival of the Arts scavenger hunt features Figment hiding within paintings throughout the World Showcase.

This scavenger hunt requires you to look both inside and outside each country in the World Showcase to spot Figment.

EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

The Flower and Garden Festival scavenger hunt features Spike the Bee in Spike’s Pollenation Exploration. Spike is hidden in flower gardens throughout the World Showcase.

Easter Egg-stravaganza

If you visit EPCOT around Easter, you get a bonus scavenger hunt (and this one is our favorite!!). The Easter Egg-stravaganza takes place during the Flower & Garden Festival. You’ll search the World Showcase for super fun character Easter eggs hidden outdoors.

Make sure you look high and low!

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

The Food & Wine Festival scavenger hunt features Remy from Ratatouille! He’s hiding around the World Showcase with ingredients in hand. You’ll find him outdoors.

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

The Festival of the Holidays scavenger hunt features Olaf celebrating different holiday traditions throughout the World Showcase. You’ll find him outdoors.

I hope this overview of the EPCOT Festival scavenger hunts is helpful! These are fun for little kids and big kids alike and they’re a really great way to explore within the World Showcase. My kids truly look forward to these scavenger hunts each year.
