Which Genie+ Rides to Select First at Walt Disney World

If you’re thinking about using the new Genie+ service at Walt Disney World on your next vacation, you’ll want make sure you choose your first ride selection wisely to get the most benefit from this new paid FastPass system.

Each of the 4 Walt Disney World theme parks have Genie+ attraction(s) that are very popular selections.

As a result, the ability to skip the Stand-By lines with Genie+ for those attractions “sells out” very early in the day — especially during the holidays and busy season.

This means that if you’d like to maximize your use of Genie+, you’ll want to make sure you prioritize these attractions as your first selection of the day at 7am.

Otherwise, when it’s time to make your next Genie+ selection, those attractions will be gone for the day and you will need to use the Stand-By queue (which defeats the purpose of purchasing Genie+!).

β‹†β˜… Important Note:

If you’re confused about Genie+ in general, which attractions are included, why 7:00 am matters, etc — read this post first. Then come back here. πŸ™‚

Here are the rides you’ll want to prioritize and select FIRST when using Genie+.

Magic Kingdom

  1. Jungle Cruise
  2. Peter Pan

EPCOT

  1. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

Hollywood Studios

  1. Slinky Dog Dash
  2. Tower of Terror
    • ToT is operating at half capacity currently and lines get very long

β‹†β˜… Important Note:

If you want to use Genie+ for Slinky Dog Dash you’ll need to select it first.
This ride’s Genie+ availability always sells out very early in the day.

Animal Kingdom

  1. Na’vi River Journey
  2. Kilimanjaro Safaris

I want to make it clear that I am in no-way saying these are the BEST attractions at each park (personally I could ride the PeopleMover all day long and that doesn’t even have Genie+ HA!).

These are just the attractions that will have less Genie+ return times available as the morning progresses — until eventually they run out altogether.

Make sure you choose one of these attractions in the My Disney Experience app at 7am on the dot for best return time availability! πŸ™‚

Have fun!
