Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort offers both standard hotel rooms and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Deluxe Studios.
Both room types have just recently received an update and I was very excited to stay at the DVC Studios in October for the kick-off of Walt Disney World’s 50th birthday!
The rooms were absolutely BEAUTIFUL and in comparison to the last time I had stayed at the Polynesian (in a standard room, before the remodel) — I was blown away by how nice and fresh everything felt.
The Polynesian is a stunning Deluxe Resort at Walt Disney World with monorail, boat, or walking access to Magic Kingdom!
My kids absolutely love the pool and water play area here. You have fantastic dining options both at the resort and on the monorail loop. You can’t go wrong with a stay at the Polynesian.
Let’s take a look at a DVC Deluxe Studio room at the Polynesian.
Remodeled DVC Studio at the Polynesian
One really great thing about the Studios at the Polynesian is that they sleep 5!
Each studio will have a queen size bed, a queen pull-down bed, and a single pull-down bed.
You can see all of the sleeping options opened here.
As you enter the Polynesian Deluxe Studio, you’ll notice two bathrooms.
One is quite large with a toilet, vanity, and shower / tub combo.
The second is smaller in size but includes an additional vanity as well as a walk-in shower.
Having 2 bathrooms available is a game changer when everyone is getting ready in the mornings!
Across from the bathrooms is a small kitchenette.
The kitchenette has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink, and toaster. In the cabinets you’ll find disposable plates, cups, mugs, utensils, etc.
Next to the kitchenette is a closet space.
Once you’re in the main bedroom area, you’ll find a queen size bed with plenty of space to store luggage underneath.
And next to the bed is a sofa that is hiding a pull-down murphy bed inside.
I am a big fan of the pull-down beds Disney is replacing pull-out sofas with. They are much more comfortable than the typical thin and folded sofa mattress.
Across from the beds is a nice sitting area with a table. Great spot to have breakfast before the parks.
And next to the table and chairs is the TV and single pull-down bed.
Here’s the room again with all of the beds open.
Since this room has the 5th sleeper pulldown, there aren’t a ton of drawers for storage.
However the coffee table is hinged and opens to reveal a large storage area and there’s also a drawer pullout under the bed.
The Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World is absolutely beautiful and if you’re looking to splurge on your vacation, you’ll definitely want to consider this spot.
