Hi sweet friends (and spouses who may have been sent this link LOL)! I wanted to share some Mother’s Day gift ideas for mama’s who love Disney and may be missing their happy place a little extra right now.
I do want to preface this post with the following: if a gift is not in the cards this year, thats okay! A day to be celebrated is enough. I know there is so much craziness in the world right now but PLEASE don’t forget the mother(s) in your life! A handmade card or craft, a special dinner at home, a reminder that they are special to you doesn’t cost a dime. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 10. Set a reminder now. Don’t forget this day!
I know some of these items wouldn’t arrive for Mother’s Day but order something anyways. Print out a photo of the item and include it with the card!

Sentimental Piece of Jewelry
There are so many small shops that sell affordable and beautiful jewelry that is perfect for celebrating mom! There are necklaces with the kid’s initials. Silhouette necklaces. Rings with kid’s birthstones. Beautiful name rings. MAMA necklaces.

There are also beautiful Alex and Ani bangle bracelets that they sell at the parks! This “Incredible Mom” set is guaranteed to make a Disney mama feel special!
Or a Make It Minnie necklace!
Special Mug
If Mom is a coffee or tea drinker, get her a mug! I really love choosing a mug each morning. I always think about where I got it or the memory associated with it and that brings me joy.
Target has lots of fun and affordable mugs! Strong as a Mother. World’s Greatest Mom. Queen of the Kid-dom! You may even be able to grab one of these as a Target drive-up order!
Anthropologie sells really beautiful initial mugs.
I ordered my own mom a personalized mug last year with the kid’s photos on it! I used photos from Disney trips and she loved it!
And my PERSONAL favorite mugs, Disney mugs! There are so many to choose from! I love these initial mugs. This Walt Disney World mug would 100% bring a smile to my face when I used it! If she’s a Disney Cruise Line fan, she’ll love this one.
Something to Pamper Her
Moms work so hard, especially right now as so many are balancing being mothers, teachers, etc. So motivate them to indulge in some special self-care.
Take these gifts a step further and set up a relaxing bath for her too and insist she takes the night off!
Bath bombs, body scrubs, special soaps. I don’t personally use these kinds of things on a regular basis so when I do it feels special!
If she loves the smell of the toiletries at the Walt Disney World or Disneyland resorts, you can buy the same products online!
If she loves getting her nails done and has been unable to do so lately, maybe a new nail polish or a pedicure spa would be something she would enjoy. You also could order a gift certificate to her local salon for once everything is open again.
Bag, Purse or Wallet
Maybe Mom has been using the same bag for many years and is due for an upgrade! I love these diaper bags! They have so many fun Disney designs!
Loungefly bags are also super popular (they’re smaller so not great for a diaper bag if that’s the stage of life you’re in).
If she likes a smaller bag, I have this one and love it! You can wear it as a fanny pack, wristlet or crossbody.
And if she’s a fan of fancier brands, you could splurge on a Disney Dooney and Bourke bag.
Cozy Throw Blanket
I am obsessed with throw blankets. The two I have from our Disney Cruises are my absolute favorite. I absolutely LOVE this Walt Disney World blanket. This one is neutral and perfect for Mickey fans.
If she loves the movie Up, this is the blanket for her! If she prefers neutral decor in the home, she may like a blanket like this the best.
Loungewear or Pajamas
Let’s be honest we’re all living in our pajamas these days (well, I am lol)! So why not get her a cute pair like this! They have a matching set for little girls too!
Or maybe if Mom switches from night pajamas to day pajamas (aka loungewear), she may like these cozy pants! Tie Dye is really popular right now and these pants look both trendy and comfortable!
Something to Read
If Mom likes to read, maybe a new book would be a great Mother’s Day gift!

Framed Photo(s) or Photo Books
I am so guilty of capturing photos of our family or the kids but never actually printing them!
You can order prints for pick-up at places like CVS or Walgreens or you could order online from a business like Nations Photo Lab (really great quality prints at a good price).
Shutterfly is another option for turning photos into gifts! Or turn those pictures into a photobook with Chatbooks or Mixbook.
Grab some frames online or in your drive-up order and you have a great gift!

Finally, I asked my sweet followers on Instagram what they would want for Mother’s Day! So many of them mentioned the items listed above but the OVERWHELMING response was a Mickey Waffle Maker!!
We love ours and use it so much! It’s a splurge item but it truly brings those Mickey waffles that everyone loves at the parks right into your home! You won’t regret getting one, I promise! And if you want to take it a step further, this is the exact waffle mix that is used at the parks!
Simple & Sentimental Mother’s Day Crafts
I wanted to also share a few simple Mother’s Day crafts that you could do with the kids! I know a lot of teachers typically complete these with kiddos at school to send home for Mother’s Day.
Since we’re all schooling at home, maybe try one of these to keep that tradition alive. Mom’s love special handmade gifts from their children. I’ve saved lots of ideas on this Pinterest board.
