We absolutely love booking character meals at Disney World. Not only are they a great way for your entire family to interact with the characters, but the buffet usually has something for everyone, and our kids are still young enough that we don’t have to pay for their meal!
If you’re using the Disney Dining Plan, character meals are a great way to get the most value from your meal credits!
We recently enjoyed the character lunch at Hollywood & Vine and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Hollywood & Vine is located in Hollywood Studios and offers a Disney Jr. themed breakfast and Minnie’s Seasonal dining for lunch and dinner.
The characters dress according to the season; it’s super fun to see them in their non-traditional outfits. Let’s take a look at Minnie’s Springtime Dine at Hollywood & Vine!

Minnie’s Springtime Dine Characters
One of my favorite parts about the buffet lunch at Hollywood & Vine is the line-up of characters! Not only do you get to dine with Mickey and Minnie, but you also enjoy Donald, Daisy, and Goofy too! The Fab 5 make their rounds at Hollywood & Vine for lunch and dinner!
The characters will come right to your table as you’re eating and they’ll interact with everyone, pose for photos, and if you’re lucky, they may even play tag with you like Goofy did with our daughter!
Each character is dressed in their bright springtime outfits, our toddler was especially fond of Minnie’s dress!
to maximize your time with each character, book your dining reservation at the start of lunch. The restaurant won’t be overly crowded, allowing the characters to make their rounds quickly and stop at your table multiple times.
Minnie’s Springtime Dine Menu
Lunch at Minnie’s Springtime Dine is served buffet style. You can find an assortment of soups, salads and bread. I recommend the pretzel rolls and the caesar salad. There was an abundance of side dishes like mashed potatoes, lobster & shrimp mac n cheese, cilantro rice, quinoa, pastas, and vegetables.
Meat lovers will be delighted to find a carving station with turkey and lamb, and other offerings like roast chicken, meatballs, and Mongolian beef (this was both mine and my husbands favorite!). Seafood lovers will enjoy shrimp, mussels, and multiple fish options like salmon and tilapia.
Children of course can eat from the entire buffet but there is a section that satisfies even the pickiest of eaters. Kids will find fan favorites like chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, pasta, rice, and veggies.
Eat as much as you’d like but make sure you save room for dessert! Mini servings of so many delicious desserts options like cheesecake, key lime pie, cupcakes, cookies, cream puffs, and of course soft serve ice cream.
Minnie’s Springtime Dine Price
The Hollywood & Vine lunch price is $45-55 for adults and $28-37 for ages 3-9. Price varies depending on the season (peak vs value). Annual Passholder discount is available, as well as Tables in Wonderland, and Disney Vacation Club.
Advanced dining reservations are recommended, however we have been able to book the character lunch at Hollywood & Vine same day without any issues. If this is a lunch that you don’t want to miss, make sure to book early!
Overall, I highly recommend lunch at Hollywood & Vine! Not only was the food delicious but the character interactions were beyond our expectations and our toddler has been talking about the experience for weeks now. We most definitely will be back!
