The Best Disneyland Treats to Try – 2022

So you like treats huh? Me too my friend, me too. In my opinion, half the fun of a Disney vacation is eating! HA!

Here are some of my favorite treats that you should try on your next Disneyland vacation!

Churros

Various locations, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure

Throughout both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure you’ll find various churro carts offering either plain churros or specialty churros!

The specialty churros are often seasonal so they do switch up, but all of the specialty churros I’ve tried at Disneyland have been delicious!

If Willie’s Churros Cart in Disney California Adventure is serving the Fluffernutter Churro when you visit — you MUST eat one!

A warm churro with marshmallow fluff, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. I can’t ask for more in my life!

Schmoozies Shake or Mangonada Smoothie

Schmoozies, Disney California Adventure

Similar to the specialty churros, Schmoozies also features seasonal offerings (like the shake you see below that was a Halloween offering).

The Mangonada Smoothie is a menu staple and its one of my favorite treats!

Hungry Bear Funnel Cake

Hungry Bear Restaurant, Disneyland

You’ll find both basic funnel cake and seasonal funnel cakes at Hungry Bear Restaurant.

The seasonal funnel cakes are typically loaded with whipped cream and ice cream; making them a great bang-for-your-buck treat.

Beignets and a Mint Julep

Mint Julep Bar, Disneyland

For me, a Disneyland trip is not complete without a few stops at the Mint Julep Bar!

I absolutely love the Mickey beignets and mint julep you’ll find at Disneyland.

Mint Julep Bar usually has traditional offerings as well as seasonal offerings available to try.

Mobile order here if you can, the line gets long!

Although I haven’t been yet, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney also offers beignets and my Instagram followers swear by them! So if you find yourself in Downtown Disney, grab a bag!

Churro Gears

Maurice’s Treats, Disneyland

Churro Gears are a perfect breakfast or midday treat inside of Disneyland!

You’ll find these warm donuts tossed in cinnamon and sugar at Maurice’s Treats near the Royal Theatre.

Cream Cheese Pretzel

Refreshment Corner, Disneyland & Various Pretzel Carts

If you like salty & sweet treats, a cream cheese-filled pretzel should be on your list!

Over the holidays they featured the Toffee Pretzel and it was incredible! Hopefully they’ll bring it back again soon!

Dole Whip

  • Tropical Hideaway
    • Disneyland
  • Tiki Juice Bar
    • Disneyland
  • Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill
    • Disneyland Hotel

You can find a variety of different dole whip offerings at Disneyland.

I personally LOVE the Chili-Mango Dole Whip from Tropical Hideaway!

Churro Toffee or Churro Marshmallow Wand

Candy Palace, Disneyland or Trolley Treats, Disney California Adventure

Churro Toffee is such a simple treat that will leave you wanting MORE! I love to buy a few squares at the beginning of my trip to leave in my backpack for random snacking and then to bring home with me!

I also love the Churro Mickey Marshmallows or Wands!

Ice Cream from Clarabelle’s

Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream, Disney California Adventure

You’ll find so many ice cream offerings at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream! Sundaes, cones, and even hand-dipped ice cream bars are on the menu!

Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num

Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums, Disney California Adventure

If you’re a chocolate chip cookie fan, make a stop here!

Num Num cookies are warm and gooey and super delicious!

I asked my Instagram followers what their favorite Disneyland treats are and in addition to the above list, these were mentioned multiple times!

  • Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaroon
    • Jolly Holiday
  • Tigger Marshmallow Tail
    • Pooh Corner
  • Choco-Smash Candy Bar
    • Pym Test Kitchen
  • It’s Snow-Capped Lemon! or Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait
    • Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats
  • Salt & Straw Ice Cream
    • Downtown Disney

You also have a TON of different treats available in the cases around the parks! These are super easy to mobile order and are great to bring back home with you at the end of a trip.

Mickey Gingerbread Cookie

Now, this last one is a holiday specific offering but I couldn’t leave it off the list!

If you’re visiting Disneyland during Christmas-time, you HAVE to try the gingerbread!

I never thought gingerbread was good until I tried this one. It is so soft and flavorful and totally worth ordering extra!

You’ll also find other fun treats that are created just for the holidays throughout the parks. Definitely give them a try if you’re visiting during that time of year!
