Looking for outdoor dining locations for an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World?
Well my friend, you’re in luck because today I want to share a spot that is a must-visit when you’re at Animal Kingdom!
Not only is the food incredible, the outdoor seating is a 10/10 comfort-wise, and the views are *very* entertaining — especially for littles!
I know what you’re thinking: “Wow! This place sounds great! How am I ever going to snag a reservation, Shannon?!!?!”
Here’s the kicker… YOU DON’T NEED ONE!!!!!! *feels illegal to even type this right now tbh* LOL
Insert the Disney dining experience that I wish every single park had: Nomad Lounge.
Nomad Lounge at Animal Kingdom
Nomad Lounge is a casual dining location located next to Tiffins inside of Animal Kingdom that typically opens at 11am each day.
If you were to walk from the Tree of Life towards Pandora, you’d see Nomad Lounge on the right just before the bridge into the Avatar-themed land.
Nomad Lounge offers indoor seating, outdoor seating, and seating at the bar (also indoors).
If you’d like to dine at Nomad Lounge, you simply join the Walk-Up list.
This can be completed in the My Disney Experience app or by visiting the Cast Member outside of the restaurant.
If you’d like to sit outside, make sure you let the Cast Member know.
One of the reasons I really enjoy the outdoor seating at Nomad Lounge is because of how casual and comfortable it is.
The seats are all patio lounge chairs and sofas. Have a kiddo that wants to sprawl out for a little nap while everyone else eats?! This is the spot for it!
There’s also an amazing view from the outdoor seating area — which is actually a deck on the water.
You’ll see all of the character flotillas pass by as you’re dining.
It isn’t just the atmosphere that keeps bringing me back to Nomad Lounge. It’s also the menu that has never left me feeling disappointed.
I cannot get enough of the sliders — they have a vegetation option as well as beef for the meat eaters.
My absolute FAVORITE thing to order at Nomad Lounge are the churros!
They are seriously the best churros I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy with incredible dipping sauce.
And the best part about them is they’re Gluten Free! This is a top dessert at Walt Disney World for me!
There are so many other things on the menu that friends have tried when we’ve dined here together and they all enjoyed their meals as well — I literally always get the churros and sliders HAHA!
Nomad Lounge also offers a ton of different cocktails if you’d like to grab a drink too.

I highly recommend adding Nomad Lounge to your list for an Animal Kingdom day! Even if you just stop in for a drink and the churros, you’ll leave with a smile on your face. 🙂
