Chef Mickeys

Chef Mickeys is probably the most common of all the Disney World character breakfast buffets. Located in the Contemporary Resort, this breakfast features Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto.

Chef Mickey Breakfast Price: $41 Adults / $25 Children

Pros:

• Features the Disney Fab 5 characters
• Fun to see the monorail pass by as you’re eating
• Easy transportation to and from the Magic Kingdom via the Resort Monorail
• Large variety of food options.

Cons:

• The restaurant is very loud and can often feel chaotic.
• While there is a large variety, the food is nothing special.
• One of the more expensive character meals.

Do I recommend it?:

Yes, especially if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan. It’s a nice treat to see all of the characters together and everyone really should experience Chef Mickey’s at least once!

Garden Grill

The Garden Grill is a family style character breakfast. Located in EPCOT, this breakfast features Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

Garden Grill Breakfast Price: $34 Adults / $20 Children

Pros:

• Food is served family style (I find this much easier than visiting a buffet with small children)
• The food is actually very good.
• Early access into EPCOT if you book a dining reservation before park opening.

Cons:

• The restaurant itself seems a little bit old and dated.
• While you do get to see Mickey, the other characters may not top your list.
• More limited menu as compared to a buffet.

Do I recommend it?:

It depends. I think the food here is worth the visit IF you are fans of Pluto and Chip and Dale. Otherwise, I recommend booking breakfast elsewhere.

Tusker House

The Tusker House is a great choice for families who want something beyond typical breakfast buffet food. Located in the Animal Kingdom, this breakfast features Mickey, Goofy, Daisy, and Donald.

Tusker House Breakfast Price: $34 Adults / $20 Children

Pros:

• The food at Tusker House is excellent and far beyond the typical scrambled eggs and bacon.
• Daisy is not as common of a character at the parks!
• Early access into the Animal Kingdom if you book a dining reservation before park opening.

Cons:

• May have to wait beyond your reservation time to be seated.

Do I recommend it?:

Yes, the food here is fantastic and the character selection is great (plus the characters wear their safari gear which makes for fun photos!).
