Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine

My preschooler and I recently experienced the Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine character breakfast at Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood Studios! I had no idea just how much my daughter would LOVE this character meal! Keep reading to see all of our breakfast fun!

Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine is different than lunch and dinner; it’s the only place at Walt Disney World that you can eat with Disney Junior favorites! Lunch and Dinner at Hollywood & Vine are Minnie’s Seasonal Dine — read about that here!

Characters at the Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine breakfast all come right to your table as you eat your breakfast. Your little one will get to meet and interact with:

Sofia the First

Doc McStuffins

Roadster Racer Goofy

and VAMPIRINA!!

Meeting Vampirina was the absolute highlight of this breakfast for Our Daughter! Just look at that face!

All characters sign autographs so definitely bring an autograph book or something else for the characters to sign (like the fun keepsake idea I share here!).

Breakfast is buffet style and beverages are included too (even an adult beverage if you’re on the dining plan — woo woo!). You are welcome to enjoy as much as you’d like!

Here’s what you can expect to find:

Lots of bread options and a toaster as well
Variety of fruit and other cold offerings
Grits and Oatmeal with plenty of toppings
Muffins and pastries
Care for a croissant?!
Plenty of hot foods including a variety of eggs and breakfast meats!
Loved the chorizo eggs!
Our Daughter’s favorite — BACON!
Greek yogurt with toppings
Cereal and milk

Tons of kid-friendly options too (of course kiddos and adults are welcome to anything on the buffet!). I ate an embarrassing amount of Mickey waffles HAHA! NO REGRETS!

Mickey waffles and CHOCOLATE SAUCE!
Tots, pancakes, and strawberries too!

And sweet offerings too! Including ICE CREAM!!!

Bread Pudding, Apple Crisp, and Vanilla sauce! SO GOOD!
Ice cream for breakfast is totally acceptable at Disney!

Who can resist a little ice cream with their breakfast?! Not Our Daughter!!

Some of my favorite breakfast offerings were the bread pudding with vanilla sauce, the chorizo eggs, the Mickey waffles with strawberry topping and the spoonbread pudding!

My first plate!

I also ordered a mimosa since it was included with my dining plan! It was definitely delicious!

Our Daughter loved the French toast sticks, bacon, sausage, muffins, and fruit! And of course the tortilla. Anyone else’s kid love tacos… with nothing in them? LOL

Our Daughter’s plate!

Breakfast is served from 8am – 10:20am. This meal counts as one table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan. Or if you’re not on the dining plan, adults are $38 and children $23.

Don’t forget to use your discount if you have one!

Hollywood & Vine is a nice sized restaurant (not nearly as big as Chef Mickeys, but not as small as Garden Grill) so expect the characters to take about 60 minutes in total to make their way around the restaurant to your table.

You don’t want to rush character meals to ensure everyone gets a chance to visit with you!

If you’re not on the dining plan, choose to enjoy your character dining meal at breakfast time. Prices are much less expensive compared to lunch and dinner!

If you are on the dining plan, you’ll get more bang for your buck using your table credit for a character meal at dinner!

We had a wonderful experience at the Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine breakfast! I highly recommend this Walt Disney World character breakfast for families with toddlers and preschoolers who love watching these popular Disney Jr. shows!

After eating, definitely stop over to Animation Courtyard to watch the Disney Junior Dance Party!
